The LID-560 Pocket Reader is a low cost hand-held reader for applications that do not require maximum read range performance or weather and water resistance.  Typical applications include pet identification in veterinary practices, wildlife identification, and asset identification applications.  The dimensions of the LID-560 Pocket Reader are identical to the LID-571 reader, but the LID-560 does not have any memory storage nor a USB interface or RS-232 interface.  The LID-560 Pocket Reader has a convenient belt/pocket clip.  The LCD will display a “Low Battery” message when the 9 volt alkaline battery needs to be recharged.
