Wildlife, pet & industrial applications

The LID-571/572 Pocket Reader is a low cost hand-held reader for applications that do not require maximum read range performance or weather and water resistance.  Typical applications include pet identification in veterinary practices, wildlife identification, and inventory applications.  The reader will store up to 5,370 readings in its memory (2,010 readings with a date/time stamp) and can upload the readings to a computer via its USB or RS-232 interface.  The LID-571/572 Pocket Reader has a convenient belt/pocket clip.  The LCD will display a “Low Battery” message when the 9 volt alkaline battery needs to be recharged.
