The
PB-30244 Panel Reader is a Trovan® radio
frequency identification reader developed for livestock, pet, wildlife, and
industrial applications. Benefits include superior reading distance and accuracy,
increased transponder scan coverage area, faster read speed, the ability to read
in the presence of ferrous metals, and system ruggedness.
Typical
users include ranchers, laboratories, research institutions, zoos, wildlife agencies,
regulatory agencies, and other users which need to positively identify
livestock, dogs,
cats, and other large animals and track
their activities and feeding habits. The PB-30244 Panel Reader
can also be used with non-implantable Trovan®
transponders to obtain greater reading
distances and for the RFID of inanimate objects.
The
PB-30244 Panel Reader is available in a number of configurations and can be
adapted to the customer's special needs. The modular construction of the
PB-30244 facilitates system installation and repair. The reader is
weatherized, including water resistance, for outdoor installations. The
reader's control assembly can also be optionally heated to provide a lower
operating temperature range.
